JOB SUMMARY
The Marketing Coordinator supports the planning, development, production, and distribution of marketing and communications materials. This entry-level role helps the Marketing & Communications team execute campaigns and day-to-day communications across member, provider, digital, print, community, and internal channels while maintaining brand consistency, accuracy, and timeliness.
The position is ideal for a strong writer who can also coordinate projects, manage details, and contribute to a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
Working closely with marketing leaders, designers, subject matter experts, compliance, operations, community engagement, and external vendors, the Marketing Coordinator assists with content calendars, campaign deliverables, collateral updates, website and social content, email communications, presentations, and event or outreach support.
A key part of the role is copywriting and editing clear, audience-appropriate messaging that reflects the organizations voice and supports business goals. This includes drafting, proofreading, and revising content for flyers, brochures, web pages, emails, newsletters, social media posts, talking points, presentations, and other communications materials.
The Marketing Coordinator must demonstrate sound judgment, strong attention to detail, and an understanding that communications may require review for regulatory, legal, brand, accessibility, and health literacy standards. The individual helps route materials through internal review processes, incorporate edits accurately, maintain version control, and confirm final materials are ready for release or production.
The successful candidate is organized, adaptable, and service-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and translate complex healthcare information into clear, culturally responsive, and easy-to-understand content.
This role also supports basic reporting by tracking deliverables, gathering campaign metrics, and helping the team evaluate engagement and continuous improvement opportunities.
