Restaurant Operations Manager

Job Description

Hard Rock Cafe Foxwoods is seeking an experienced and organized Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and support the team in delivering excellent guest service. This role involves coordinating front-of-house and kitchen activities, supporting staff development, monitoring food and service standards, managing operational priorities, and helping maintain efficient restaurant performance.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills and is comfortable managing a fast-paced dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and guest-service activities.
• Coordinate front-of-house and kitchen workflow throughout each shift.
• Support, guide, and motivate restaurant supervisors and team members.
• Monitor food quality, order accuracy, presentation, and service standards.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and coaching employees.
• Respond to guest feedback and help resolve service concerns professionally.
• Monitor food, beverage, equipment, and restaurant supply levels.
• Coordinate inventory organization, ordering, receiving, and restocking.
• Support staffing schedules, shift coverage, and operational planning.
• Oversee POS procedures and routine cash-handling processes.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked dining and kitchen areas.
• Support opening and closing procedures and daily operational checklists.
• Review operational challenges and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Communicate staffing, inventory, and performance updates to senior management.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and company procedures.
• Help maintain a welcoming atmosphere and consistent guest-service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or food-service management experience.
• Supervisory or team-management experience in a busy restaurant environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and support daily operational goals.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, inventory control, and staff coordination.
• Familiarity with POS systems and operational reporting.
• Ability to train, support, and motivate team members.
• Strong attention to food quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

Hard Rock Cafe Foxwoods operates within the Foxwoods Resort Casino destination in Mashantucket, Connecticut. The restaurant combines dining, hospitality, and entertainment while focusing on food quality, guest service, and efficient daily operations.

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
