The company is powered by a leading power battery technology company that provides solutions for vehicles including the world's first mass commercial e-bus route.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Directly engage with US OEM customers, driving and coordinating cell development and manufacturing in tandem with the headquarter cell team.
- Manage projects from conception to production handover, acting as the main point of contact throughout the process.
- Develop detailed manufacturing program plans, defining strategy, scope, schedule, resources, and cost targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the manufacturing program with the planned objectives.
- Create, maintain, and effectively communicate project schedules to engineering leadership.
- Identify innovative solutions to overcome project obstacles and maintain schedule adherence.
- Prioritize and track the progress of cross-functional team tasks, balancing schedule, risk, resources, and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge and strong industry experience in lithium-ion battery cell technology.
- Minimum of 5 years in product development or manufacturing, with a mix of engineering and project management roles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage engineering projects for mass-produced products.
- Proficiency in project management tools like JIRA, Microsoft Project, and Confluence.
- Ability to work effectively across functions and manage large teams.
- Willingness to travel as required for project needs.
