Glen Haven Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor / Admissions Nurse to join our night shift nursing team on a 7 On / 7 Off schedule.

This position combines nursing supervision with resident admissions responsibilities. You'll oversee overnight nursing operations, provide clinical leadership, and coordinate new resident admissions to ensure a smooth transition into our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility.

Enjoy a consistent schedule with seven consecutive days off while making a meaningful difference in resident care!

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and oversee resident care during the 11:00 PM–7:00 AM shift.
• Coordinate and complete new resident admissions, including nursing assessments and required documentation.
• Review admission orders, medications, and treatment plans for accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate with physicians, hospitals, families, and the interdisciplinary care team regarding new admissions.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Assess residents and respond promptly to changes in condition or emergencies.
• Monitor staffing assignments and assist with maintaining appropriate overnight coverage.
• Ensure accurate nursing documentation and compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Promote resident safety, infection prevention, and quality care standards.

Qualifications

------------------

• Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing – REQUIRED.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Previous nursing supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with resident admissions and nursing assessments preferred.
• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, lead a nursing team, and manage multiple priorities.
• Availability to work the 7 On / 7 Off night shift schedule, including scheduled weekends.
