Restaurant Operations Manager

Job Description

Girl & The Goat is seeking an experienced and organized Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and help deliver an excellent guest experience. This role involves coordinating front-of-house and kitchen activities, supporting team development, monitoring service standards, and helping maintain efficient restaurant operations.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills and can manage priorities in a fast-paced dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and guest-service activities.
• Coordinate front-of-house and kitchen workflow throughout each shift.
• Support and guide servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and other team members.
• Monitor food quality, order accuracy, cleanliness, and service standards.
• Assist with employee onboarding, training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Respond to guest feedback, requests, and service concerns professionally.
• Help maintain efficient seating, order flow, and table turnover.
• Monitor food, beverage, and restaurant supply levels.
• Assist with inventory tracking, ordering, receiving, and restocking.
• Support POS operations and routine cash-handling procedures.
• Help coordinate staff schedules and communicate coverage needs.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked dining and kitchen areas.
• Support opening and closing procedures and daily operational checklists.
• Identify workflow challenges and recommend practical improvements.
• Communicate operational updates and staffing needs to restaurant leadership.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or food-service experience.
• Previous supervisory, operations, or restaurant-management experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong attention to food quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
• Familiarity with POS systems, inventory control, and restaurant procedures.
• Ability to train, support, and motivate team members.
• Professional judgment and a collaborative approach to leadership.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
