Back End Developer

We have an immediate opening for a Java Backend Developer - with a leading IT Service Consulting company in Dallas, TX - Full Time Job purpose Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.Design and implement secure, scalable RESTful APIs and web services while integrating SQL/NoSQL databases and messaging platforms.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to deliver high-quality solutions using CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud technologies.Ensure application reliability, performance optimization, and effective production support and troubleshooting.

Job Description Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 4–9 years of relevant experience in enterprise application development. Hands-on experience developing server-side applications and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.

Working knowledge of microservices architectures and API design. Experience with SQL and relational databases, and familiarity with NoSQL data stores such as MongoDB or Cassandra . Working knowledge of messaging platforms such as Kafka, JMS, or RabbitMQ.

Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design. Experience with JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, and web services. Experience with Jenkins, Git, CI/CD , and testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.

Experience with cloud development and production triage. Comfortable working in Agile environments and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.
