Client Location: Dallas or Houston, TX

Type: Full-time/Perm

Note: This position is remote, needs to be located within 90 miles of Houston or Dallas, TX and able to attend initial training and important meetings in Chicago, IL. Final around interviews will be in Chicago, IL with paid expenses. This client will not sponsor or transfer visas now or in the future.

Responsibilities

This individual will lead product design for complex, AI-enabled legal products and platforms, translating business needs and product strategy into clear product direction and high-quality user experiences.

This role leads work from discovery and problem framing through product definition, prototyping, delivery, and iteration, partnering closely with Product Management, Engineering, and business stakeholders to address complex workflows and deliver meaningful business and user outcomes.

This person will also lead and develops Product Design talent, establishes high standards for UX and UI quality, and advance AI-enabled approaches that improve the speed and effectiveness of product discovery, validation, and delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of leading/driving user experience vision on enterprise projects/applications.
• 5+ years of people management/supervisory experience.
• Must have some level of experience with UX research design, specifically having experience leading discovery workshops and doing the associated qualitative research. User testing does not qualify as research.
• Understanding of how developers work/think, specifically what developers need from the team and how to support them to have a functioning product. Coding experience is NOT required.
• Experience with enterprise related industries (M&A, tax, law, professional services, etc.).
• Experience with leveraging AI for prototyping designs is a plus.
• Self-starter that’s self-sufficient and work autonomously without prompting.
