Floral Supplies Sales Representative

Position Summary: Flora Fresh Inc. is an employee-owned wholesale floral, plant, and floral supply distributor located in Sacramento, California. As a Sales Representative you will be responsible for driving sales through account growth and development.

Your role is to build new relationships with prospective customers and to foster stronger relationships with existing customers via phone, email and in-person contact, maintain accurate inventory, assist in sourcing core, and seasonal items for a broad base of customer needs. You will also work cross functionally with the procurement team, sales and marketing team to create and implement sales plans to increase revenue.

Compensation:

• $22.00-$25.00 DOE

Regular Duties:

• Generate and follow through on sales leads within the floral and event industries
• Visit prospective and existing accounts to capture new business opportunities
• Assist in new account setup
• Report and provide feedback to management using statistical data
• Accurately track, record, and report sales efforts
• Meet personal and team sales goals
• Follow-up/check in with new accounts to ensure successful business relationships
• Ensure inventory accuracy
• Regularly assess inventory levels and order necessary products to meet customer demand
• All other duties as requested.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Advanced skills using Microsoft products including Excel, Outlook, and Teams
• Proven sales experience
• Track record of over-achieving quota
• Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record and ability to travel within the greater Sacramento area
• Floral and/or event industry experience strongly preferred
• Must be able to lift 50lbs

Working Conditions:

• Occasional travel withing Northern California and Nevada
• Day shifts Monday-Friday based on client’s availability and needs. During peak times of year, additional work may be required.
• When onsite at Flora Fresh, the office and warehouse environment are not temperature controlled and can vary from cold to hot as outdoor temperatures change.
• Must be able to consistently work around plants and flowers of different varieties.
• Must not be afraid of heights and be able to use a ladder, stairs, and stock picker.
• Work conditions will require standing and walking in a warehouse environment approximately 50% of the time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
