About The Role

Contributes to the organization's AI and data science initiatives by applying machine learning, natural language processing, and statistical modeling to business and research problems. The role is split between working on AI projects for Division leadership and serving on the Secretariat for the Supervision and Regulation (S&R) AI program.

Supports the development and evaluation of AI pilots — including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and agentic workflows — and helps translate business needs into feasible technical approaches. Assists in identifying and advising on potential AI use cases across the Division, working with senior S&R leaders and other stakeholders.

Transforms data into actionable information and helps advance the organization's AI capabilities.

Specific Tasks

  • Supports analytic and AI pilot projects, including RAG systems, agentic workflows, and predictive/statistical models, coordinating with S&R leaders and stakeholders on design and testing.
  • Serves on the Secretariat for the S&R AI program, helping coordinate program activities, track initiatives, and prepare materials for AI program governance and leadership.
  • Helps evaluate potential AI use cases proposed by business stakeholders; assists in assessing feasibility, data readiness, and expected value, and documents recommendations for review by S&R leadership.
  • Uses AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) to accelerate coding, debugging, and analysis tasks, while following code quality, security, and compliance standards.
  • Assists with prompt design, context engineering, and basic tuning of LLM-based tools to improve reliability and accuracy for specific use cases.
  • Performs data quality tests and helps improve statistical inferences of variables across models.
  • Visualizes and reports data and pilot findings using a variety of formats; communicates results through internal reports and summaries for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Compiles and reviews information from academic journals, vendor material, and industry sources to stay current on data science and AI techniques (e.g., RAG, agentic AI, LLM tooling), and shares relevant findings with the team.
  • Participates in cross-functional discussions with business and technical stakeholders to support the translation of business problems into technical solutions.
  • Assists with the collection, refining, and transformation of data from internal and external systems in a manner suitable for analysis and model development.
