- Provides trade compliance guidance and training to Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, Regulatory, Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders.

Global Logistics and Transportation
- Serves as the primary Orascoptic resource for European logistics planning, execution, and issue resolution across ocean, air, truck, and small-parcel transportation modes.
- Coordinates with European distribution, commercial, and service partners to address customs clearance, carrier performance, delivery, documentation, and cross-border shipment requirements.
- Evaluates routing, service levels, lead times, freight costs, and provider performance and recommends changes to improve delivery reliability and total landed cost.
- Leads resolution of high-impact shipment delays, customs holds, claims, and service failures by coordinating internal stakeholders, brokers, carriers, and other external partners.
- Manages freight providers, freight invoices, shipment claims, and service-performance reviews, including root-cause analysis and corrective-action follow-up.
- Develops and maintains logistics work instructions, escalation paths, standard processes, and required international shipping documentation.
- Partners with Envista platform teams to leverage transportation contracts, rates, systems, and shared service providers and to implement enterprise logistics initiatives.
Analytics, Cost Management, and Continuous Improvement
- Develops and maintains monthly trade compliance and logistics dashboards, metrics, and performance reporting for Orascoptic and Envista stakeholders.
- Analyzes freight spend, accessorial charges, service performance, shipment patterns, and compliance data to identify trends, risks, savings opportunities, and corrective actions.
- Supports freight budgeting and forecasting, explains variances, and provides data-based recommendations to business leaders.
- Leads or independently executes freight savings, carrier optimization, process improvement, and system or data-quality projects from analysis through implementation and benefit tracking.
- Uses ERP and other business-system data to improve classification, country-of-origin, shipping-documentation, inventory-adjustment, and reporting accuracy.
- Establishes repeatable controls and standard work that reduce manual effort, prevent recurring errors, and strengthen compliance and operational performance.
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

- Experience analyzing freight or compliance data, developing performance reporting, and translating findings into business actions.
- Experience leading process improvement, cost-savings, carrier-performance, audit, or corrective-action initiatives.
- Ability to travel up to 5 times per year, including potential international travel.
- Ability to work across time zones when needed to support global partners and other international logistics activities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with ERP systems and customs, transportation, freight-payment, or reporting tools preferred.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to evaluate complex information, identify root causes, and recommend defensible actions.
