Job Overview

Diamanti is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to help develop, maintain, and improve cloud-native software and infrastructure platforms. The ideal candidate has experience with distributed systems, cloud technologies, container orchestration, and scalable software architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based software services.
• Build and improve distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
• Develop software components that integrate with Kubernetes environments.
• Implement and maintain REST APIs and backend services.
• Work with container technologies and orchestration platforms.
• Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot complex software and infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and quality assurance teams.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and technical documentation.
• Support continuous integration and deployment workflows.

Required Skills

• Professional experience in software engineering or cloud application development.
• Strong programming skills in Go, Python, Java, or C++.
• Knowledge of cloud computing and distributed systems.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies.
• Understanding of Linux, networking, and system architecture.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and database systems.
• Experience with Git and software development practices.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes operators, and Helm.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with cloud storage and data management systems.
• Understanding of monitoring, observability, and system reliability.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.

Compensation

Estimated annual salary range: $130,000–$175,000, depending on experience, technical qualifications, and job responsibilities. This is an illustrative market estimate, not a verified Diamanti salary range.
