Senior Design Coordinator / Design Operations Manager

Desscon Engineering designs and permits dental and healthcare construction projects across Florida. We're looking for an organized, hands-on coordinator to run the day-to-day operations of our design office.

What you'll do

• Track the status of every project from kickoff to permit. • Receive city and county plan review comments and follow up until approval. • Prioritize and assign work between our two architects (one on design, one on working drawings). • Coordinate with our office team, who submit plans to the city. • Manage submittals and communication with city reviewers.

What we're looking for

• Experience at an architecture, engineering or construction (AEC) firm coordinating people and projects. • Able to read plans and understand the permit and plan review process. • Your day-to-day is coordinating, not drafting. • No architecture license required. • Experience with AI tools is a plus, but not required.
