About this role

We are a growing startup and fully funded! We have patents for a range of technical products ranging from security intelligence to social media. We are rapidly growing and looking for additional Engineers to help us scale.

If you are interested in working with a tight-knit team and in an exciting environment - please come join us! Position Overview We are seeking a versatile Full-Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and integrations. The ideal candidate will work across front-end and back-end stacks, implement robust APIs, integrate cloud services (primarily AWS), and leverage AI-driven features.

This role focuses on delivering high-quality code, reliable services, and seamless user experiences while collaborating with product and engineering teams to iterate quickly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive front-end applications using React (ReactJS), Angular, or Vue frameworks and modern HTML/CSS and JavaScript standards.
  • Build and support backend services and APIs using Ruby on Rails (RoR), Ruby, Python, FastAPI, or Django, ensuring clean architecture and scalable patterns.
  • Integrate and manage cloud infrastructure and services on Amazon Web Services, including S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda, and related tooling.
  • Design, document, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs, plugin systems, and fluid integrations with third-party services and internal systems.
  • Implement testing strategies including unit, integration, and regression testing; actively participate in debugging, profiling, and performance optimization.
  • Work with AI services and APIs such as ChatGPT and Claude to build conversational features, automation, and other intelligent integrations; prototype and iterate on AI-driven components.
  • Implement CI/CD, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code best practices to ensure reliable releases and rollback strategies.
  • Participate in code reviews, mentor peers, and collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Monitor production systems, handle incident response, and continuously improve observability, logging, and alerting systems.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, API docs, and runbooks to support maintenance and onboarding of new team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience developing full-stack web applications or a demonstrable portfolio of relevant projects.
  • Proven experience with React (ReactJS), HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
  • Strong backend development experience with Ruby, Ruby on Rails (RoR), and/or Python frameworks such as FastAPI or Django.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda and familiarity with core Amazon Web Services concepts.
  • Experience designing and consuming APIs, building plugins, and creating fluid third-party integrations.
  • Solid practice in debugging, testing, regression testing, and use of automated test frameworks and tooling.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and APIs (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude), and experience integrating conversational or AI features into applications.
  • Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployment best practices.
  • Excellent problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Bonus: experience with Cursor, plugin ecosystems, serverless architectures, monitoring/observability tools, and prior work with production ML/AI pipelines.
