Insurance Account Manager

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Licensed Insurance Agent to join our team in Smithville, TN!

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with people, providing excellent customer service, and helping clients with their everyday insurance needs. This position will primarily focus on personal lines customer service, answering incoming phone calls, assisting customers with payments, and providing support to our agency’s daily operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to new and existing clients.
• Assist customers with personal lines insurance, including auto, home, renters, and other personal insurance policies.
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls as needed.
• Process customer payments and assist with billing questions.
• Help clients with policy changes, renewals, ID cards, and general account questions.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate customer information and documentation.
• Build positive relationships with clients and insurance company representatives.
• Maintain accurate records in a customer relationship management (CRM) system and handle sales administration using Microsoft Office.
• Assist with general office duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Tennessee Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Previous insurance agency experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
• Comfortable answering phones and working directly with customers.
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to multitask in a busy office environment.
• Computer skills and willingness to learn agency management systems.
• Microsoft office experience is preferred.
