About this role
Our client, a leading entertainment merchandising company, is looking for a creative and organized Graphic Designer to develop merchandise graphics, marketing assets, and ecommerce deliverables while supporting the overall creative process from concept through production. This is mainly a PRINT role very little digital however illustration skills and merchandising design are a must.
This role is hybrid 3 days in NYC. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with a strong eye for design and detail. You thrive in collaborative environments, enjoy bringing ideas to life, and can balance creative excellence with production requirements and tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Create original graphics, logos, and artwork for merchandise, marketing, and digital channels.
- Apply designs across apparel, accessories, souvenirs, paper goods, and ecommerce assets.
- Develop product mockups and presentation materials for client reviews.
- Adapt and enhance client-provided assets into new creative concepts.
- Manage select projects, partnering with Account Managers on creative briefs, timelines, and approvals.
- Prepare production-ready artwork, ensuring vendor compliance, print specifications, and color accuracy.
- Support print-on-demand production and delivery of final art files.
- Assist with style guides, licensing materials, and presentation decks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure design intent and product accuracy.
- Maintain organized creative assets, file standards, and project workflows.
- Participate in team, client, and product launch meetings.
Must haves:
- 3+ years of graphic design experience, preferably in merchandise, entertainment, licensing, or consumer products.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign).
- Strong understanding of branding, typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
- Knowledge of print production, file setup, and Pantone color management.
Nice to haves:
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for entertainment, theater, live events, and consumer merchandise is a plus.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
