Registered Nurse (RN) - PT

Registered Nurse (RN) RESPONSIBILITIES: Facilitates the delivery of routine nursing care per department protocol to residents and their children of the Chrysalis Center, a women's substance abuse treatment facility. Ensures program standards and service quality are met. Documents services provided in accordance with Medicaid standards.

Conducts nursing assessments upon admission. Provides individual counseling in medication management. Assist in coordinating health services, medical treatment and medical education for residents.

Works closely with pharmacies for accuracy to coordinate prescriptions, EMAR, etc. Follows visiting physician orders. Participates in Treatment Plan Review/Case Review.

Participates in in-service and other training sessions related to the skills improvement and performance. Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements for Department of Public Health, Department of Social Services, etc.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be certified by the State of South Carolina as a Registered Nurse.
• Knowledge of addiction dynamics and treatment modalities preferred.

SCHEDULE

Part-time, hours may vary Monday – Friday, 8:30 - 6 PM

PAY: $36 per hour, starting salary
