Part Time Registered Nurse

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team working in the cardiology office setting (private practice). The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background in cardiac care and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing electrocardiogram (ECG) tests on patients during exercise while sitting or walking on a treadmill
• Monitor the patient and their heart during exercise and record exercise intensity, patient pain levels, and blood pressure
• Administer and Monitor Stress Test to assess cardiovascular health, ensuring patient safety
• Prepare and educate patient about the stress test process
• Analyze test results, documenting findings and collaborating with Nuclear technologist and cardiologists
• Provide immediate care and support during stress test, responding to any adverse reactions or emergencies as needed
• Assist with obtaining vital signs, applying electrodes, tracking supplies and provide assistance in the department as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• A current BLS Certification is required
• A current ACLS Certification is required
• 1-2 years working in cardiac care environment are required.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
