About this role
At Caton Commercial Real Estate Group, we are dedicated to leveraging our collective expertise to optimize the value of commercial real estate assets for our clients and building successful careers for our team.
Caton Commercial Real Estate Group is a full-service firm specializing in commercial real estate brokerage and property management services. With a team of professional brokers and property managers, we serve clients throughout the Chicagoland area.
Marketing Coordinator – Caton Commercial Real Estate
Pay: $52,000.00 per year
Job description:
Why You’ll Love This Role
Love design but want to see your work actually help close deals? At Caton Commercial, the flyers, campaigns, and listings you create go straight into the hands of brokers marketing real properties across the Chicago suburbs. We’re a close-knit Naperville team, so your work is seen, valued, and used every day instead of getting lost in a corporate approval chain.
As our Marketing Coordinator, you’ll work directly with our Senior Marketing Manager and brokers across both brokerage and property management. You’ll get a real education in commercial real estate, a wide variety of creative work, and the chance to grow your role as you grow your skills.
What You’ll Do
Create
- Produce property flyers, brochures, aerials, and marketing pieces in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite that brokers use to win and market listings
- Create eye-catching social media graphics and posts, including video, that showcase our listings, closed deals, and team
- Write property descriptions, blog posts, website copy, and company updates
- Keep every piece polished and on-brand by proofreading and quality-checking before it goes out
Campaigns & Content
- Plan and schedule social media posts across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
- Build and send email campaigns through Constant Contact
- Help bring company events and internal initiatives to life, including our annual State of the Office event
Track & Organize
- Monitor social media and campaign performance, and turn the results into reports that shape our marketing strategy
- Juggle timelines and task lists so projects stay on track and deadlines are met
- Maintain organized files, databases, and digital archives so the whole team can find what they need
Day-to-Day Support
- Coordinate daily marketing requests from brokers and property managers across all service lines
- Gather property details from brokers to create and update listings, marketing databases, and website content
- Prepare and schedule social posts using existing templates and approved content
- Organize content and prepare drafts for email campaigns, then coordinate distribution
- Support internal communication, including company updates and team announcements
- Compile summaries and reports for the Senior Marketing Manager and brokers
Where This Role Can Take You
- Hands-on experience across brokerage and property management: you’ll learn commercial real estate from both sides
- Direct mentorship from our Senior Marketing Manager and day-to-day exposure to brokers and clients
- A performance review after your first 90 days, then annually, with growing ownership of projects and strategy over time
What You Bring
Must have:
- 1–3 years of marketing experience
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, plus design experience in Canva, and video editing in CapCut
- Strong writing skills and a sharp eye for detail
- Experience with social media platforms and scheduling tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
- A portfolio showing your design and/or writing work
Nice to have
- Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience with Constant Contact or another email marketing platform
- Interest in or knowledge of commercial real estate
- Curiosity about AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Canva Magic Studio, Adobe Firefly) and how they can help you work smarter; we encourage experimenting
Benefits:
- 401(k)
- Health insurance
- Life insurance
- Paid time off
Work Location: In person
