About the Role

This is a part-time, remote telehealth position. Candidates must hold an active New York State NP or PA license.

Care2U is hiring an experienced NP or PA to support our home-based care platform by managing diagnostic results and coordinating patient follow-up remotely. This role suits seasoned clinicians who want flexible, part-time work, enjoy talking with patients, and want to provide clinical care beyond the traditional office visit.

The work is primarily asynchronous. Most of it happens in the morning, and the afternoon and evening are flexible as long as you stay reachable by phone and chat.

Schedule

• Every Monday, plus 1 weekend day per month
• Shift hours: 8:30 AM – 9:00 PM
• Expect about 3–4 active hours in the morning; the rest of the day is lighter, with intermittent needs
• Once the morning results queue is complete, you’re free to do other things as long as you respond to chat messages, stay reachable by phone, and have ready access to the electronic medical record (EMR)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead morning rounds from 8:30–9:00 AM (by phone) for acute home-care patients
• Review and follow up on diagnostic results
• Provide telephone support for critical results, including prescriptions and referrals as needed
• Document patient conversations in the EMR
• Escalate care through our team structure: Nurse → Advanced Practice Provider (APP) → Physician
• Maintain clear, professional communication and patient confidentiality

Requirements

• Active New York NP or PA license
• 5+ years of clinical experience
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Reliable phone and internet access
• Strong clinical judgment and organized workflow habits

Compensation

• $250 flat rate per shift, with most activity in the first 3–4 hours
