Testing & Quality Engineering

  • We are seeking an full stack Developer with strong expertise in Node.js Microservices, React.js, AWS Serverless Technologies, and Cloud-Native Application Development.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working as a part of engineering teams, designing scalable distributed systems, and capable of delivering modern full-stack applications using React, Node.js, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • The role requires a hands-on developer who can follow architecture decisions, mentor junior developers, and collaborate closely with Lead and Product Owners, Architects, and business stakeholders as needed.
  • Relevant technologies reflected in comparable full-stack cloud-native environments include React.js, AWS Lambda, Kubernetes, microservices, CI/CD, and cloud-native architectures.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership:

  • Follow the technical direction for the design and implementation of enterprise-scale applications, provided by lead and architects.
  • Contribute value to architecture, design reviews, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Mentor and coach team members through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with Lead, Architects, Product Management, UX, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver business outcomes.

Full Stack Development:

  • Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js, Express.js, and Microservices architecture.
  • Build modern, responsive user interfaces using React.js, Redux, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Develop secure RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
  • Implement event-driven and asynchronous processing patterns.

Cloud & Serverless Engineering:

  • Design and develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and Step Functions.
  • Build cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and IAM.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Ensure scalability, resilience, high availability, and security of cloud applications.

Microservices & Integration:

  • Implement distributed microservices using containerized and serverless patterns.
  • Develop event-driven solutions leveraging Kafka, messaging systems, and asynchronous workflows.
  • Implement API versioning, security, observability, monitoring, and performance optimization.

DevOps & Quality Engineering:

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
  • Implement automated testing, code quality checks, security scans, and deployment automation.
  • Participate in production support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident management.

Developer Expectations:

  • Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code aligned with established technical standards.
  • Actively participate in sprint planning, estimation, and Agile ceremonies to support successful delivery.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to resolve technical challenges and ensure timely execution.
  • Contribute to code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
  • Translate functional requirements into reliable technical solutions with guidance from senior team members.
  • Proactively identify and address defects, performance issues, and technical debt.
  • Continuously enhance technical skills and share knowledge within the team.
  • Take ownership of assigned work items and ensure commitments are delivered with quality and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building serverless and cloud-native applications on AWS.
  • Experience with high-volume transactional systems and distributed architectures.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks including OAuth2, JWT, SSO, and RBAC.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • AWS Developer Associate, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent cloud certifications preferred.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $30.97/hour - $48.40/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
