Position Overview

Building More Futures, LLC is seeking an experienced, dependable, and hands-on Group Home Operations Managerto oversee daily operations in a children's intensive behavioral group home.

The ideal candidate must have experience working with children with autism, developmental disabilities, and intensive behavioral challenges. We are looking for a strong leader who brings a fresh, structured perspective and can develop, implement, and maintain effective systems that improve staff accountability, daily operations, and quality of care.

This is an active leadership role requiring direct involvement with children, staff supervision, and hands-on training. The manager may also be included in the staff-to-client ratio as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily home operations, staffing schedules, attendance, and coverage.
  • Create and implement structured routines, procedures, and accountability systems.
  • Provide direct care and support to children with autism and intensive behavioral needs.
  • Develop and monitor toileting schedules, potty-training programs, incontinence care, and proper hygiene routines.
  • Actively train, coach, and supervise staff on behavioral interventions, personal care, documentation, and daily responsibilities.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, identify performance concerns, and implement corrective training.
  • Oversee daily communication logs, behavior documentation, incident reports, and required paperwork.
  • Work closely with schools, teachers, parents, guardians, behavior analysts, and medical professionals.
  • Coordinate medical appointments, school-related needs, and individualized care plans.
  • Ensure a safe, structured, clean, and compliant home environment.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children with autism and intensive behavioral challenges is required.
  • Experience with toileting, potty training, incontinence care, and hygiene support for children with developmental disabilities.
  • Group home or residential behavioral care experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide hands-on staff training and supervision.
  • Experience communicating and collaborating with schools and behavioral professionals.
  • Ability to create, implement, and maintain effective operational systems.
  • RBT certification required or willingness to obtain certification after hire.
  • Strong organizational, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be reliable, proactive, professional, and calm under pressure.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a hands-on leader, not just an office manager. Someone who takes initiative, brings fresh ideas, develops effective systems, holds staff accountable, and actively trains employees while ensuring children receive consistent, high-quality care.

How to Apply

Please submit your resume highlighting your experience with autism, intensive behaviors, group home operations, staff leadership, toileting programs, and RBT certification status.
