Quality Assurance Analyst

QA Analyst – UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) Location: Hybrid / Remote (Philadelphia) Employment Type: Full-Time | Project-Based with Permanent Opportunity Position Overview We are seeking an experienced QA Analyst to support the migration from Kronos Workforce Central (WFC) to UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM).

This individual will be responsible for validating system functionality, data accuracy, and integration reliability through functional, integration, regression, and parallel testing. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with TestAssure, strong knowledge of Kronos WFC, and an understanding of workforce management processes, including timekeeping, scheduling, pay rules, and accruals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute test cases across System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression, and parallel testing.
• Utilize TestAssure to create, manage, and automate test cases across Kronos WFC and UKG Pro WFM.
• Validate timekeeping, scheduling, pay calculations, accruals, overtime rules, and other critical WFM functionality.
• Conduct parallel testing between legacy and cloud platforms to identify discrepancies in timecards, payroll calculations, and system outputs.
• Test integrations between UKG Pro WFM and enterprise systems, including HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping platforms.
• Investigate system discrepancies, document defects, and collaborate with technical and business teams to resolve issues.
• Support UAT activities, including test execution, defect tracking, and validation of business requirements.
• Maintain reusable automated test scripts and provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, and system readiness.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or enterprise application testing.
• Hands-on experience with TestAssure , including manual and automated test execution.
• Strong working knowledge of Kronos Workforce Central (WFC) , including timecards, pay rules, scheduling, and accruals.
• Experience with SIT, UAT, regression testing, and parallel or data reconciliation testing.
• Understanding of workforce management processes, including time and attendance, scheduling, and payroll calculations.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing UKG Pro WFM in a cloud environment.
• Previous involvement in a Kronos WFC-to-UKG Pro WFM migration.
• Experience developing automated test scripts within TestAssure.
• SQL knowledge for data validation and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll integrations, including Workday, SAP, or ADP.
• Knowledge of labor regulations, union rules, and complex pay policies.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
