ScheduleLocation

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $40 per hour
• Location: Elyria, Lorain, and surrounding areas
• Care Setting: Home-based and facility-based care, as assigned

Key Responsibilities

------------------------

• Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric and medically complex patients.
• Perform tracheostomy care and manage ventilator support according to the individualized care plan.
• Administer G-tube feedings and medications as prescribed.
• Perform oral suctioning as needed and respiratory treatments twice daily, as ordered.
• Monitor respiratory status, vital signs, and overall patient condition, responding promptly to changes.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility as needed.
• Follow infection control procedures and patient safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate with physicians, families, and the care team.
• Follow physician orders and participate in ongoing training and competency assessments.

QualificationsRequirements

------------------------------

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred
• Tracheostomy and ventilator care experience strongly preferred
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred
• Experience with G-tube feedings, suctioning, and respiratory treatments preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Current TB clearance in accordance with agency requirements
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and appropriate auto insurance
• Ability to assist with patient mobility and perform required physical tasks
• Required immunization records or approved exemptions, as applicable
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently while following physician orders and individualized care plans
