About this role
From weddings and celebrations to corporate gatherings and major sporting productions, our team works behind the scenes to bring events to life. We take pride in delivering exceptional experiences, embracing creativity, and making every event run seamlessly.
We believe extraordinary events start with extraordinary people. If you take pride in your work, enjoy collaborating with a supportive team, and want to be part of something bigger, you’ll feel at home here.
The HR Business
Partner is a strategic role for someone who thinks like a business leader, acts like a coach, and has the credibility to influence at every level of the organization. You'll own a defined region — a cluster of locations — and be accountable for the health of the talent, the strength of the leadership, and the performance of the teams within it.
You'll also own at least one company-wide initiative, giving you the opportunity to shape how we operate beyond your region and leave a mark on the broader organization.
If you want a seat at the table, this is it.
What You'll Do
Regional Partnership & Leadership Development
- Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to regional and location-level leaders, coaching them on people strategy, team dynamics, performance, and culture.
- Build leadership capability across your region through ongoing coaching, feedback, and development conversations that make managers better, not just more compliant.
- Partner with leaders to diagnose organizational effectiveness issues and design solutions that actually stick.
- Drive accountability for performance management, helping leaders set clear expectations, deliver honest feedback, and take meaningful action when needed.
- Champion a culture of engagement, inclusion, and high performance across every location in your region.
Talent & Organizational Health
- Own the talent pipeline for the region, identifying high-potential employees, building succession plans, and ensuring we're developing people before we need them.
- Partner with hiring managers to attract and hire exceptional talent, bringing a strategic lens to workforce planning and candidate selection.
- Monitor team health indicators (turnover, engagement, performance patterns) and proactively address issues.
- Lead or support organizational design work as the business grows and evolves, including structure changes, role design, and team transitions.
Employee Relations & HR Execution
- Navigate complex employee relations matters with sound judgment, consistency, and care, balancing the needs of the individual with the health of the organization.
- Ensure HR policies and practices are applied consistently and fairly across your region.
- Be the connective tissue between field leadership and the broader HR function, surfacing what's working, what isn't, and what needs attention.
Company-Wide Project Ownership
- Own and lead at least one strategic HR initiative with company-wide impact, driving the initiative from diagnosis through execution, collaborating cross-functionally and presenting progress to senior leadership.
What You Bring
- Meaningful experience as an HR Business Partner or in a generalist HR role with a strong strategic component; you've been a partner to the business, not just a resource for it.
- A track record of coaching and developing leaders, particularly frontline and mid-level managers who are growing into their roles.
- Strong business acumen: You understand how operations, revenue, and people strategy connect, and you speak the language of the leaders you support.
- Experience managing employee relations with confidence, consistency, and good judgment.
- The ability to use data to tell a story - turnover trends, engagement signals, performance patterns -and to drive decisions from what you find.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and a fast-moving environment where the org chart doesn't always have all the answers.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills: You can challenge a leader, deliver hard feedback, and still walk out of the room with the relationship intact.
- A bias for action and a builder's mentality: You don't wait to be told what needs to be fixed.
- Experience in multi-site, field-based, or distributed workforce environments is a strong plus.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field; PHR, SPHR, or SHRM certification preferred but not required.
