About this role

We’re developing a new outpatient behavioral health practice near 33rd Street and Camelback Road and seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to help establish and lead our Spravato treatment program.

This is a hands-on opportunity to shape a new program, provide thoughtful patient care and collaborate with our therapy team. Ownership will support business operations while the medical provider directs clinical decisions within their professional scope.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assess patients’ suitability for Spravato treatment.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, prescribe within scope and evaluate patients’ response to treatment.
  • Help establish clinical workflows, patient-screening procedures, informed consent and emergency-response protocols.
  • Help implement and maintain Spravato REMS requirements, including patient enrollment, staff training and required documentation.
  • Provide onsite prescriber coverage during treatment and monitoring, working with appropriately qualified clinical staff.
  • Assess treatment-related concerns and determine when patients are clinically ready for discharge.
  • Coordinate follow-up care with therapists and other treating providers.
  • Maintain timely clinical records and support insurance authorization and medical-necessity documentation.
  • Help identify the staffing, equipment and operational requirements needed for a safe program launch.

Required qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license and Arizona nurse practitioner certification with psychiatric–mental health population focus.
  • Current national PMHNP certification.
  • Arizona prescribing authority and appropriate DEA registration before providing controlled-substance treatment.
  • Experience providing outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
  • Ability to work onsite for scheduled treatment and monitoring periods.
  • Strong clinical judgment, documentation and communication skills.
  • Willingness to participate in payer credentialing and required program training.

Preferred qualifications

  • Direct experience treating patients with Spravato and managing REMS requirements.
  • Experience treating adults with treatment-resistant depression.
  • Experience launching a clinical program or developing treatment protocols.
  • Familiarity with prior authorizations and coordination with specialty pharmacies.
  • Relevant emergency-response training and experience.

Pay: $90.00 - $120.00 per hour
