The Revenue Accountant supports the finance and accounting departments across customer invoicing, accounts receivable and billing, deferred revenue, cash, and related accounting activities. This role prepares accurate invoices, maintains receivables and deferred revenue schedules, and supports collection efforts and customer inquiries.

The Revenue Accountant also contributes to monthly and quarterly reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, audits, and process improvements in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP. The position requires strong ownership, accuracy, customer service, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

As our Revenue Accountant, you’ll support HID’s success by:

• Preparing accurate customer invoices in accordance with contract terms and billing schedules, submitting them through required delivery channels, and maintaining supporting documentation.
• Maintaining accounts receivable aging, monitoring outstanding balances, and performing timely collection follow-up on past-due invoices.
• Tracking deferred revenue and maintaining related schedules and reconciliations.
• Recording cash transactions, coding checks, scanning deposits to SEB/PNC, and reconciling cash accounts.
• Supporting timely and accurate monthly and quarterly financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP.
• Managing the accounts receivable and general accounting shared inboxes and responding to customer inquiries.
• Managing orders and revenue reporting against targets, including monthly recurring revenue and annual recurring revenue.
• Preparing month-end variance analyses, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations to support close and management review.
• Reconciling credit card transactions and importing transaction data into the ERP system to support deferred revenue accounting and revenue recognition.
• Managing the Avalara relationship; reviewing sales tax returns and supporting data, coordinating corrections, monitoring filing and payment status, and maintain records.
• Supporting external year-end reviews, local statutory audits, finance policies, and compliance activities.
• Implementing and improving finance processes and systems, driving continuous improvement, and assisting with ad hoc projects and analysis.

Your Experience and Background include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of four years of experience in an accounting- or finance-related role.
• Experience in an accounting, finance, or customer support role.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and professionally with strong follow-up, tracking, and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, written, and verbal communication skills, including effective communication in English.
• Proactive self-starter who takes ownership, identifies priorities, and follows through with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with web applications using supported browsers and Adobe PDF applications.
• Experience with revenue accounting, including deferred revenue and revenue recognition is preferred.
• Experience using artificial intelligence tools is preferred; willingness to learn and adopt AI-enabled tools is expected.
