Outside Sales Representative – Electrical Distribution

Pay: UNCAPPED commission on gross margin + $75,000–$95,000 base + vehicle allowance

On-target earnings: $130,000–$180,000+ (top performers earn more — no cap)

About us

Tech Energy America is an Arizona electrical equipment distributor. We supply switchgear, switchboards, pad-mount and dry-type transformers, panelboards, wire and cable to contractors, developers and industrial customers across Arizona, with fast lead times and in-stock equipment.

The role

We are looking for a proven outside sales rep who already sells electrical supplies in Arizona and has strong, long-standing relationships with contractors and buyers. Your job is to bring those accounts to Tech Energy America and grow them.

What you'll do

• Sell to electrical contractors, general contractors, developers, utilities and industrial/mining accounts across Arizona
• Bring your existing customer relationships and turn them into active accounts
• Find and win new projects: bids, quotes, follow-up and closing
• Work with our team on pricing, lead times and submittals
• Keep a clear pipeline and report weekly on quotes, orders and margin

Must have

• 5+ years of outside sales at an electrical distributor (supply house) in Arizona
• An established book of Arizona electrical contractors and buyers who buy from you today
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution equipment: gear, transformers, panels, wire and cable
• Track record of hitting sales and gross margin targets
• Valid Arizona driver's license, reliable vehicle and clean driving record

Nice to have

• Experience with switchgear and transformer projects (commercial, data center, solar, industrial)
• Relationships with Phoenix and Tucson contractors and project managers
• Bilingual English/Spanish
