Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting & Close: Manage monthly and quarterly close activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial statement preparation.
  • Revenue Recognition: Apply US GAAP and ASC 606 principles to ensure accurate revenue recognition across multiple business lines.

  • Audit & Compliance: Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for external audits, tax filings, and regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate accounting workflows, improve reporting, and streamline financial operations.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a senior accounting role.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
  • Hands-on experience working with Workday.
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • Experience developing or implementing internal controls and accounting procedures.
  • Strong Excel skills, including reconciliations, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience in healthcare, telemedicine, pharmacy, or subscription-based businesses.
  • Experience with multi-entity accounting and consolidations.
  • Experience supporting acquisitions and post-acquisition accounting integration.
  • Familiarity with accounting automation tools and AI-powered financial workflows.

What We're Looking For
