Information Technology Project Manager

📢 We're Hiring: IT Project Manager – Senior / Lead 📍 Location: Hybrid – Onsite at least 2 days per week 💼 Employment Type: FULLTIME WORK Location: Taylor, TX ONLY FOR GC/USC Job Overview Seeking an experienced IT Project Manager at the Senior or Lead level to plan, manage, and deliver IT and business projects in accordance with established project governance.

The ideal candidate will have strong project planning, technical delivery, risk management, budget oversight, and stakeholder coordination skills to ensure projects are completed within approved scope, timelines, and funding parameters.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate project activities with business owners, technical leads, developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and technical requirements.
• Manage project resources, assignments, dependencies, priorities, and change requests.
• Monitor project progress against schedule, budget, scope, and technical specifications.
• Establish project reporting standards, documentation procedures, and performance metrics.
• Identify risks, issues, deviations, and delivery blockers; develop and execute mitigation plans.
• Oversee test planning, testing execution, migration activities, and validation of project deliverables.
• Prepare project status reports and communicate progress, risks, and issues to management and stakeholders.
• Ensure successful project completion through customer acceptance testing, sign-off, and project reviews.
• Document lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
• For Lead-level positions, provide additional team oversight, mentoring, coaching, and work-product reviews as needed.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.

Senior Project Manager

Minimum 5 years of relevant job-related experience beyond degree requirements.

Project Manager Lead

Minimum 8 years of relevant job-related experience beyond degree requirements. Demonstrated experience managing IT projects from planning through execution and final delivery. Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource management, risk assessment, and change control.

Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams and business stakeholders. Ability to manage project documentation, status reporting, testing, migration planning, and acceptance activities. Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
• Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience with complex IT implementations, technical projects, or system migrations.
