Job Description

Addigy is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to contribute to the development and improvement of software solutions for Apple device management. The role involves building reliable application features, developing backend services, improving system performance, and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver secure and scalable technology.

The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, a problem-solving mindset, and an interest in cloud-based software and device management systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and backend services.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Build APIs and services that support cloud-based software functionality.
• Develop and improve features for device management and administration platforms.
• Troubleshoot software defects and resolve application performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software engineering standards.
• Create automated tests to improve reliability and maintain code quality.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
• Support application deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to architecture discussions.
• Follow security best practices when handling device and customer data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional experience developing software with languages such as Go, Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, and version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of software testing, debugging, and application performance optimization.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a software development team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing cloud-based applications and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of macOS, Apple device management, or MDM technologies.
• Experience with containers, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Understanding of application security and scalable service architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile software development practices.
