We are seeking a skilled, independent Contract Family Law Attorney to step in, make an immediate impact, and potentially grow into a full-time role.

What You’ll Do

You will independently manage family law matters end-to-end—handling drafting, litigation preparation, and strategy:

• Litigation & Trial Prep: Manage comprehensive case prep for hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
• Pleadings & Strategy: Draft pleadings, motions, declarations, written discovery, and settlement agreements.
• Legal Research: Conduct thorough research and strategically apply findings using Westlaw (or similar tools).
• Communication & Representation: Serve as a compassionate and effective point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, and courts. Appear at hearings, depositions, and trials as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bar Admission: Active California Bar license in good standing (Required).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Family Law (Required).
• Location: Based in the Los Angeles, CA area or surrounding regions (Required).
• Autonomy: Proven ability to manage cases independently, hit deadlines, and solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin/Chinese is a plus!
