Infrastructure Services is part of IS&T and the foundation of Apple's global network operations — managing data center equipment and systems to deliver compute, storage, and networking services for teams across Apple, including its internal developer community. From individual facilities to a worldwide network, Infrastructure Services ensures the technology underneath everything works without question.

The Data Center Operations (DCO) group is looking for a Field Service Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying and maintaining servers and supporting fixtures and infrastructure in our remote locations globally.

Experience with DC operational tasks, including rack sizing, equipment installation and decommissioning. Hands-on experience with various copper and fibre cabling structures. Prior experience in DC operations, supply chain, and DC construction.

Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 60% of your work schedule.

Capable of independent problem-solving and self-motivated. Experience in a data center environment. Strong communicator with excellent oral and written skills to a variety of audiences.

Ability to build and grow relationships and collaborate with other teams. Experience with DCIM tools. Possess a global perspective with the ability to understand and work effectively in a culturally diverse organisation.

Ability to manage key stakeholder interests while at the same time managing conflicting priorities and business interests.
