Marketing Communications (Marcom) is the creatively-led global team that oversees Apple’s consumer facing marketing. We ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications across all medias and platforms. Every day, hundreds of millions of Apple customers around the world interact with our products.
We drive the strategy and creative work that provide both new and existing customers with simple, engaging and inspiring marketing experiences.
The strategy team spans research, insights, briefs and measurement to drive effectiveness and inspire teams to deliver outstanding work. Within strategy, the Channel Strategy team collaborates closely with Channel and Partner Comms.
This group drives best-in-class marketing and customer experiences that show up in our partner worlds - the e-commerce platforms, carriers, retailers, banks (and more) who bring scale to our business and close the gap with our customers.
Within Marcom Strategy, the Channel Strategist partners closely with Channel and Partner Comms to drive best-in-class marketing and customer experiences across our partner ecosystem. This group shapes how Apple shows up across e-commerce platforms, carriers, retailers, and financial partners—amplifying our business at scale and bringing us closer to our customers.
The Channel Strategist is a highly collaborative role that partners across Channel and Partner Communications, Brand Strategy, Sales, Interactive, and Creative teams to develop breakthrough marketing solutions.
You will design scalable initiatives for partners across diverse markets — spanning content and campaigns, e-commerce, digital experiences, advertising, media, social CRM, and in-store environments — ensuring a seamless, inspiring Apple experience at every customer touchpoint.
8+ years of strategic planning experience within leading creative, social, or integrated communications agencies, brand consultancies, or client-side brand teams. Expertise in interrogating and synthesizing diverse data sources and consumer insights to identify strategic opportunities and establish clear measurement frameworks.
Proven track record of authoring clear, inspiring briefs that translate complex business and marketing objectives into world-class creative work. Demonstrated ability to build consensus and alignment across senior cross-functional internal teams and external partner organizations. Fluency in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese and English.
Experience leading go-to-market strategies for full-funnel brand, marketing, and customer experience campaigns across digital, e-commerce, and physical retail environments. Deep fluency in the social commerce ecosystem (e. g.
, WeChat, Douyin, rednote), with a track record of building innovative social-first and content-driven channel initiatives. Strong ability to connect disparate signals, navigate ambiguity, and decisively identify the most impactful strategic path. Highly collaborative mindset with an entrepreneurial drive to challenge conventions, build on diverse viewpoints, and unlock new opportunities.
