Job Category

360 Finance is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to optimize and expand our consumer-financing marketplace. This role will translate lender performance, contractor demand, consumer credit profiles, and operational data into business decisions.

The Business Analyst will identify coverage gaps, growth opportunities, performance issues, and emerging risks. The ideal candidate combines financial-services experience, analytical rigor, commercial judgment, and the ability to operate in a fast-moving, high-pressure “startup on steroids” environment.

This is not a reporting-only role. This person will diagnose issues, recommend actions, and work across the organization to drive results.

Responsibilities

Lender Coverage and Network Analytics

  • Evaluate lender coverage across FICO bands, loan amounts, states, trades, contractor segments, interest rates, terms, and product types.
  • Identify contractor and consumer demand not adequately served by the lender network.
  • Quantify the application, approval, funded-loan, and revenue opportunity associated with closing coverage gaps.
  • Recommend lender capabilities, products, or underwriting criteria to add or expand.
  • Develop lender scorecards covering volume, approval rates, funded rates, pull-through, loan size, speed, reliability, economics, and contractor experience.
  • Determine whether prospective lenders provide incremental coverage or duplicate existing capabilities.
  • Support lender reviews, commercial discussions, and partner prioritization with data-backed recommendations.

Risk Monitoring and Early-Warning Analytics

  • Identify emerging risks across lender performance, contractor behavior, credit mix, consumer demand, operational service levels, fraud, compliance, and concentration.
  • Detect changes in lender appetite, underwriting, approval rates, product availability, geographic coverage, or funding behavior.
  • Partner with functional leaders to develop mitigation plans and track corrective actions.

Contractor Demand and Opportunity Analytics

  • Determine which improvements would increase contractor adoption, application volume, funded volume, and retention.
  • Partner with Sales and Account Management to identify opportunities and increase financing utilization.

Operational and Financial Analytics

  • Monitor the financing funnel from contractor onboarding and application submission through approval, documentation, funding, and repeat usage.
  • Identify funnel leakage, bottlenecks, performance anomalies, and root causes.
  • Evaluate new lenders, products, pricing changes, partnerships, and strategic investments.
  • Support planning, target setting, and performance management.
  • Track performance against targets and explain key variances.

Cross-Functional Communication and Execution

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, Account Management, Operations, Finance, Compliance, leadership, and external lenders.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in financial services, fintech, consumer lending, marketplace analytics, business analytics, or strategy.
  • Experience with consumer-credit or lending products, preferably in home improvement, point-of-sale financing, unsecured lending, or embedded finance.
  • Strong knowledge of credit segmentation, FICO bands, underwriting criteria, lender economics, and lending-funnel metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify trends, anomalies, risks, and early warning indicators in complex data.
  • Advanced SQL and Excel or Google Sheets skills.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or a similar platform.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario-analysis skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional decisions without direct authority.
  • Strong ownership, urgency, judgment, and attention to detail.
  • Experience with a multi-lender marketplace or lender-routing platform.
  • Familiarity with home-improvement financing and contractor distribution.
  • Experience evaluating lender underwriting boxes and coverage gaps.
  • Understanding of fair lending, compliance, fraud indicators, and data governance.
  • Experience supporting lender negotiations or credit-product expansion.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis, experimentation, or predictive modeling.

The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 USD to $120,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
