As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish.

You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The Health Platforms and Devices team builds innovative products and services that help our users live longer, healthier lives. We bring together the best of Google technologies and AI, health behavior science, and user-centered design to help users organize the health and wellness data, get insight from it, and take action toward their health goals. We do this with a suite of apps, services, and health wearables.

We aim to make consumer health more personal, proactive, and actionable. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $138000 - $197000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Navigate fast-paced, high-pressure environments by effectively prioritizing competing deadlines, maintaining operational agility, and consistently driving key project deliverables to completion.
  • Define lightweight, high-impact release criteria and automated quality gates tailored for rapid deployment cadences without sacrificing platform reliability.
  • Utilize AI and to seek opportunities to use AI/ML technologies to independently manage improvements across programs.
  • Partner with software and program manager leads to establish objective entry/exit criteria, test matrix coverage requirements, and launch sign-off standards.
  • Serve as a channel between the Engineering teams, Program Manager, UX, Support.
  • Independently own the quality systems, frameworks, gating criteria, and automation pipelines.
  • Own end-to-end automation coverage targets across test frameworks; ensure automated suites are continuously maintained as Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and designs evolve.
