Introduction A private school serving children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is seeking a full-time or part-time Occupational Therapist to join its team. Professional Requirements Master's degree in Occupational Therapy Current New York State Occupational Therapy license required
General Roles And Responsibilities
Manage a small caseload Provide individualized and group occupational therapy services Organize and adapt programs to meet student skill levels Conduct, score, and analyze assessments Create, score, and update OT IEP goals Complete annual progress reports and evaluation reports Maintain daily documentation notes for individual and group occupational therapy sessions Actively participate in OT department meetings and individual supervision sessions Collaborate with team members and participate in weekly team meetings Recommend and implement appropriate therapeutic programs and interventions Train, assist, and provide OT in-service training to classroom staff on therapeutic programs Provide weekly progress updates to parents Prepare for and participate in IEP meetings for students on the caseload Benefits Generous paid time off Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Commuter benefits FSA / HSA Pet coverage Additional insurance options
