Role Overview
Seeking a
full-time Physical Therapist
with hand therapy experience to provide outpatient services in a multidisciplinary setting. The role involves
evaluating and treating patients
with physical impairments affecting function and pain, developing
personalized treatment plans
, and collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers. Delegating tasks to assistants and documenting care according to policies are essential duties.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (PT); Master’s preferred
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist
- Experience in hand therapy is preferred, but new graduates may be considered
- Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical assessment skills
Key Responsibilities
- Establish treatment plans considering discharge needs and equipment
- Educate and consult with patients, families, and other providers; make referral recommendations
- Delegate interventions to assistants based on competency
- Complete documentation accurately
- Provide assessments, reassessments, and consultations for therapy services
