About this role
Employer-provided description, formatted for easier reading.
Job Summary:
As Senior Product Manager for our Driver and Rider applications, you will take full, end-to-end ownership of product strategy and execution for both the mobile and web experiences used by drivers and riders on our Mobility on Demand platform.
This is a true full-cycle ownership role
You'll run and attend lightweight, pragmatic ceremonies suited to a small, high-trust team, not a heavy, formal process, in close partnership with Engineering, along with vision and strategy development for your product area.
This is a hands-on, high-autonomy role suited to someone who wants to run their product area like a business: talking directly to customers, making sharp prioritization calls, and using modern tools, including AI, to move faster without sacrificing quality.Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for the Driver and Rider applications (mobile and web).
- Own the full backlog: writing and refining user stories with clear acceptance criteria, setting sprint goals, defining Definition of Done, and making real-time scope trade-off calls as priorities shift.
- Facilitate or attend lightweight, pragmatic agile ceremonies for your team, including standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retros, sized for a small, high-trust team rather than a heavy formal process.
- Conduct customer interviews and discovery to identify market opportunities and validate solutions; strong candidates without this experience will be supported in developing it.
- Use AI tools both to accelerate your own workflow (specs, synthesis, research, documentation) and for rapid prototyping and mockups (e.g., Claude Design, Figma AI, or similar).
- Partner closely with Engineering leadership to rebuild delivery trust and produce visible, credible progress on the modernization effort.
- Work closely with UX/Design throughout discovery and delivery, ensuring product decisions are grounded in solid user research and design rigor rather than made in isolation.
- Apply structured prioritization frameworks (e.g., RICE, weighted scoring, cost of delay) to make roadmap and backlog decisions transparent and defensible to stakeholders.
- Balance long-term technical investment against short-term delivery needs, including build vs. buy vs. partner decisions.
- Identify, track, and actively manage technical debt within your product area.
- Define and monitor quality and performance metrics; use them to drive continuous improvement.
- Deliver clear, compelling updates and presentations to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
- Support go-to-market activities for your product area, including positioning, launch planning, and enablement content, in partnership with Product Marketing and Sales.
- Act as product evangelist for the Driver and Rider apps, internally and with customers.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a B2B product management role for a technology company.
- Proven experience owning both mobile and web application products (any platform: native, hybrid, or cross-platform experience all considered).
- Strong track record of full-cycle agile ownership, comfortable operating as both product owner and de facto scrum master, including story writing, acceptance criteria, ceremony facilitation, and unblocking your own team.
- Hands-on experience applying structured prioritization frameworks (e.g., RICE, MoSCoW, weighted scoring).
- Practical, hands-on experience using AI tools in product work, both for prototyping/mockups and for day-to-day PM workflow.
- Customer interview and discovery experience strongly preferred; we will invest in developing this skill for an otherwise exceptional candidate.
- Transit, transportation, or mobility industry experience is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent business acumen and a proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Comfortable presenting to influencers, senior executives, and industry audiences.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodology.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to travel periodically within North America for customer visits.
In the USA, this job profile is EXEMPT and will be not eligible for paid overtime.
