The Richmond Group USA is partnering with an established semiconductor company to identify a

Senior Analog Mixed-Signal IC

Design Engineer

for its San Jose R&D team.

This is a hands-on design role supporting advanced video-related IC products from circuit development and layout through tape-out and production.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits using advanced CMOS technologies
  • Develop circuitry involving ADCs, DACs, PLLs, DLLs, SerDes, high-speed I/O, filters, line drivers, equalizers, or clock and data recovery
  • Support circuit simulation, layout, verification, tape-out, and silicon bring-up
  • Optimize designs for speed, power, performance, and manufacturability
  • Collaborate with digital, applications, validation, and other engineering teams
  • Help move complex IC products into commercial production

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, EECS, or a related discipline; master’s degree

preferred

  • At least five years of relevant analog or mixed-signal IC design experience
  • Strong circuit theory, design, simulation, and layout fundamentals
  • Experience with high-speed analog circuitry and several of the technologies listed above
  • Experience with Cadence design tools and CMOS development
  • Prior tape-out or high-volume commercial product experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently within a collaborative, fast-paced R&D environment
