• Minimum 10+ years of experience in QA automation and framework implementation
• Must have recent (post-2020) public transportation industry experience
• In-depth experience with transit scheduling/operations tools: HASTUS, Trapeze FX, or Trapeze OPS
• .NET development background required; proficiency in C#, JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell a plus
• Hands-on experience implementing/supporting automation frameworks for Windows UI and web applications
• Experience testing SaaS/Cloud applications and strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
• Solid knowledge of relational databases and SQL query building
• Familiarity with industry-specific ERP applications
• Role involves collaborating with QA and application engineering teams to select, define, and implement scalable automation frameworks and tools
• Responsible for extending automation to web-based applications and integrating with test management/tracking tools
• Define automation framework components (test management, object repository, logging, reporting, data-driven testing, config management)
• Develop functional, regression, and smoke test suites; implement parallel execution and optimize for performance
• Enforce coding standards and QA best practices; manage error handling, test data, and environment controls
• Integrate automation with build pipelines and reporting systems; automate test reporting and publish actionable metrics
• Partner with developers, QA analysts, and product owners for testable requirements and coverage
• Evaluate and select tools for web UI automation (e.g., Selenium) and load testing
• Produce documentation, training materials, and mentor QA team members
• Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite per week; paid for 37.5 hours/week (excluding 30-minute daily break)
• Candidates should be local to MA, NH, or RI, or willing to relocate
