Role Overview

The Senior Software Engineer will play a key role in designing and scaling the platform’s core systems. This is a high-impact position with direct exposure to leadership and an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to product direction, technical standards, and team culture.

Candidates should be based in Austin, TX, as the product and leadership teams operate locally in an in-office model.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable backend systems and user-facing products
• Contribute to evolving system architecture with a focus on performance and reliability
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure technical work aligns with business needs
• Promote engineering best practices including code reviews, testing, and documentation

Ideal Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering
• Strong backend experience, ideally with Ruby or similar languages
• Familiarity with React or other modern frontend frameworks is a plus
• Experience with infrastructure tools like AWS and Terraform is a bonus
