Physical Therapist I, Float- Inpatient Therapy- 0.5 FTE

Schedule Details

This position is a float FTE that covers all three hospitals at ProHealth Care (Waukesha Memorial, Oconomowoc Memorial, and Mukwonago Hospitals).

Position includes a regularly scheduled every other Sunday and then therapist will pick up additional open shifts each pay period to meet or exceed hours. Business hours range from 0700-1900 depending on hospital location and service line needs. All therapists work one holiday per year.

About Us:

The department operates three inpatient service locations, one at each of the hospitals in Waukesha, Oconomowoc and Mukwonago. These three locations combine to complete over 2,000 inpatient visits monthly. Clinical staff cares for patients with a variety of orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular and medical diagnoses.

The department consists of over 55 therapists to provide rehab services including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy

What You Will Do:

Evaluates individuals referred for physical therapy services. Establishes a physical therapy diagnosis, prognosis, and plan of treatment. Re-assesses the ongoing effects of treatment.

Collaborates with and provides consultation to others in care delivery. Supervises physical therapist assistants and aides.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher.
  • Current State of WI Physical Therapist licensure.
  • Current BLS (CPR) certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
  • At least 1 year of related therapy experience preferred.
