About The Role

The team is in search of an experienced Software Engineer to design, build, and operate highly scalable distributed systems and cloud-native applications. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong Java and distributed computing experience, hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and containerization, and practical familiarity with AWS cloud services.

Critical bridge role using expertise in distributed computing and containerization to move the platform beyond JAVA/JVM , creating a secure environment where AI/ML models can be trained and deployed at scale.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• Experience with Docker/containerization and deploying applications in containerized environments.
• Practical familiarity with AWS and cloud computing concepts.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph
• Twenty (20) years of Systems Engineering experience on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity, with demonstrated expertise in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts
• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited institution; in lieu of a degree, an additional five (5) years of relevant Systems Engineering experience may be substituted

Details

Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
