Physical Therapist – Outpatient

Role Overview: A Physical Therapist provides outpatient physical therapy services, including evaluation and treatment for patients with various impairments affecting their function or causing pain. The position offers 1:1 patient care and mentorship opportunities within a collaborative rehab team in a patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans considering discharge needs, functional status, and necessary equipment.
• Educates and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers; makes referrals to specialists when needed.
• Delegates tasks to assistants, techs, and students based on their skill levels.
• Completes thorough documentation in line with departmental policies.
• Performs assessments, reassessments, and consultations for physical therapy services.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (required); Master’s Degree preferred.
• Valid Physical Therapist License.
• No prior experience required; supervision experience not mandatory.

Additional Information

The role is based in an outpatient setting with daytime hours, no weekends, located at a dedicated outpatient therapy facility. The department is staffed by licensed therapists, assistants, and aides, committed to providing quality patient care.
