Role Overview: A part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) with outpatient neuro experience providing patient-centered care in a rehabilitation setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs to restore or improve daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion.
- Develop and revise individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families.
- Provide education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans according to departmental standards.
- Adhere to ethical practices, maintain confidentiality, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Foster effective communication within the team and promote a positive patient experience using AIDET principles.
- Participate in professional development, mandatory training, and orientation activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist and certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
