Role Overview
This position involves providing direct patient care in a home environment, including assessment, evaluation, treatment planning, and instruction/ supervision of occupational therapy activities in accordance with physician orders. The role requires collaborating with physicians and other practitioners to optimize patient outcomes and re-evaluate treatment plans as needed.
Responsibilities
- Instructs patients and families on treatment procedures and use of assistive devices.
- Adapts treatment plans based on patient progress.
- Confers with healthcare team to coordinate care and suggest modifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT).
- Valid Driver's License and Occupational Therapist license.
- No prior experience required.
