About You
- A bachelor’s degree in fine arts, visual communication, industrial design, graphic design, integrated communications, multimedia, or another related arts field.
- 0 to 3 years of job-related design experience or relevant internship experience.
- Excellent Adobe Illustrator skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Acrobat.
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience coordinating and supporting marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- A strong visual sense and understanding of typography, composition, and color.
- Strong communication, media-formatting, presentation, and organizational skills.
- A highly motivated, proactive, and self-directed approach, with a passion for design within the built environment.

About the Role
As a Graphic Design and Integrated Communications Specialist, you will:
- Work with the North Florida Transportation Communications team to develop graphic design solutions—including graphic, multimedia, formatting, and interactive elements—for integrated communications campaigns and initiatives aligned with each client’s objectives and priorities.
- Develop, illustrate, and produce design and integrated communications concepts that effectively communicate project ideas through graphic design, formatting, and communications-production processes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of subject-matter experts, communications professionals, behavior-change specialists, and transportation-safety experts to ideate and develop concepts through a unified integrated communications process.
- Participate in internal development sessions, work sessions, critiques, and client reviews.
- Support projects from development through completion.
- Provide support to the North Florida Transportation Communications team and its clients.
- Travel as needed for onsite meetings and client presentations.
