Software Engineer - Full Stack

About The Role

The role sits at the center of the product engineering team, owning full-stack feature development across a TypeScript stack - React on the frontend, Node.js services on the backend, and PostgreSQL under it all.

You will ship user-facing features end-to-end: from API design and database schema changes to UI components that see thousands of daily users, working directly with product managers and designers in a fast, high-autonomy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship full-stack features using React, TypeScript, and Node.js - from API contracts to production deploy
• Model and evolve PostgreSQL schemas; write performant queries, migrations, and data access layers with Prisma or TypeORM
• Build and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs, focusing on correctness, low latency, and clean versioning practices
• Develop responsive, accessible frontend components with React, with attention to performance budgets and real user experience
• Own CI/CD workflows: write tests (Jest, Playwright), review pull requests, and participate in deploys to AWS-based infrastructure
• Instrument features with logging, metrics, and tracing to catch regressions before users do
• Collaborate directly with product and design to scope work, break down ambiguity, and deliver in short iterations

What We Are Looking For

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience building and maintaining production web applications
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript across both frontend and backend codebases
• Hands-on experience with React (hooks, state management) and at least one backend framework (Node.js/Express, NestJS, or similar)
• Working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) including schema design and query optimization
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes a plus)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
