About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Product Owner to support a portfolio of supply chain, merchandising, inventory, and enterprise business systems. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders and Agile development teams to deliver scalable technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience.
You will serve as the bridge between business and technology, translating requirements into actionable work, managing product backlogs, and driving successful delivery from concept through release.
Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items.
- Lead discovery sessions and gather requirements from business stakeholders and operational teams.
- Partner with engineering, QA, UX/UI, and business teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Agile ceremonies to ensure successful delivery.
- Identify risks, remove roadblocks, and track progress against timelines and objectives.
- Coordinate testing, release activities, and stakeholder reviews.
- Communicate product updates, priorities, and delivery status to key stakeholders.
- Work with internal teams and third-party partners to improve business processes and system capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of Product Owner, Product Management, or Business Analysis experience in software delivery environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SDLC methodologies.
- Experience creating and managing product backlogs, user stories, and requirements documentation.
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, Visio, or similar platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
- Supply chain, merchandising, procurement, inventory management, or retail operations experience.
- Exposure to Product Information Management (PIM), Master Data Management (MDM), or Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
- Experience supporting enterprise applications, process improvement initiatives, or system modernization efforts.
