Full Stack Software Engineer

Job Summary

Demand The Limits is looking for a full-stack software engineer who cares how software works and how it feels to use. You will help a small team build websites, internal tools, and new product features. Our priorities move quickly, so we need someone who can understand a problem, propose a clear design, and turn it into working software.

The skill we most want to add is an eye for design. You should be comfortable talking with users, shaping workflows, and making sound UI/UX decisions without waiting for a finished mockup. You will work within our design system and collaborate with marketing, staff, and other engineers.

Current work includes internal tools and marketing experiences built with Next.js, but the projects will change as the firm grows.

The tools you build will support staff whose work directly affects clients' lives. A clearer internal workflow can give the team more time for clients; a better marketing experience can make it easier for someone to reach us. You will work with the people who use these tools, see the difference your changes make, and improve them as needs change.

What you will do

• Design and build usable, responsive interfaces for public and internal applications.
• Work across the stack, including frontend code, APIs, forms, and integrations.
• Learn from users, prototype practical workflows, build and release them, then improve them with feedback. Apply our design system with attention to accessibility, performance, and clear writing.
• Use AI coding tools responsibly, reviewing their output and testing the software you ship.
• Help plan, release, and support your work with the rest of the engineering team.

What you bring

• 1 to 3 years of software development experience, including shipped full-stack web applications and work with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Good UI/UX judgment, including layout, typography, and interaction design, with examples of interfaces you designed or substantially improved yourself.
• Familiarity with the latest AI tooling is highly encouraged, especially for designing, building, and testing software.
• Comfort working with APIs, data, and third-party integrations.
• The ability to make progress when requirements are still taking shape, explain tradeoffs, and work well with nontechnical colleagues.
• Sound engineering habits around testing, code review, security, and maintainability.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
